Ideally candidates will have experience spray painting large equipment, commercial and motor vehicles. Position Overview: This role is responsible for the preparation and painting of commercial aircraft and the application of customer liveries and tech markings. A working knowledge of English is required for this role. Shift/Working Hours & Days: Days & Nights 10 to 12 hours shifts pattern (Option for overtime) 5 days on 3 days off for two weeks, 5 nights on 3 nights off for two weeks. Essential Requirements: The following are essential requirements for appointment to the post: · A National Craft Certificate or equivalent, together with a minimum of three years’ relevant post apprenticeship experience. Starting pay will be dependent on an applicant’s post-qualification experience. Incremental credit will be applied based on the number of years post-qualification experience up to a maximum of 5 increments. For example, an applicant taking up a position with 5 years post qualification experience, will start on point 6 of the scale which is €51,252. Salary is not subject to negotiation. Applicants will not enter the salary scale above point 6. Hours of Work: A 35 hour week is in operation, including finishing at 1.30 p.m. on Friday.
