Contract Hours: 35 Hours per Week Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €57,771 to €68,385 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: Annual leave entitlement is 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an occupational therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention (including Assessment of Need), clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities in the early intervention service. Services are provided to children aged 0 – 18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay and autism. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: i. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU ( https://www.coru.ie/ ) And ii. Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience And iii. Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office And iv. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued Annual Registration i.
