IT Support Technician
Key Responsibilities: General IT Support · Provide 1st Line Technical Support across all departments. · Assist with software and hardware support in a timely and efficient manner. · Minimise interruptions to IT services by troubleshooting issues promptly. · Liaise with third-party suppliers or support services when necessary. · Train and transfer knowledge to internal teams. System & Network Administration · Active Directory (AD) administration: user and security group creation, permission allocation. · Private Branch Exchange (PBX) administration: assign and set up internal extensions. · Diagnostic testing and support for Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Linux operating systems. · Maintain network infrastructure. · Proactive server support and upkeep. · Office 365 tenant management. · ERP (NAV) maintenance and development. · CCTV administration and maintenance. Asset & Documentation Management · Ensure all hardware and software is asset managed and licensing is legally compliant. · Maintain an adequate supply of IT consumables and equipment. · Document standard operating procedures and maintain IT records. · Manage delivery and setup of new equipment with third-party suppliers. Data & Software Support · Diagnose and maintain production and office software and equipment. · Perform data analysis including warehousing and report creation. Main Duties: · You will be assisting with the effective delivery of IT support across all departments, including software & hardware support in a timely manner. · Ensure the IT department maintains an adequate supply of consumables and equipment as necessary. · Minimise interruption to IT supply and troubleshooting IT related problems in a timely manner. · Ensure all Hardware and software is asset managed & licensing is legally compliant. · Liaise with third-party suppliers or support services where necessary. Established in 2010, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates across three sites – St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St. Luke’s Hospital (SLROC SLH), St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St James’s Hospital (SLROC SJH) and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital (SLROC BH). The Pathology Laboratory in St. Luke’s Hospital is highly automated and computerised, providing a comprehensive analytical service to the Hospital. The service also undergoes continuous development in response to SLRON development strategy and user needs. The Blood Transfusion Department, has a key role in the therapeutic support of oncology patients during their treatment at St. Luke’s. The Pathology Laboratory comprises a small multi-disciplinary team of staff in the disciplines of: Blood Transfusion, Haematology, Biochemistry and provides a full on-call service 24/7, all year-round. Staff flexibility is important for the effective provision of a year-round laboratory service at SLRON. There is currently one permanent whole-time post available in the Blood Transfusion Department, Pathology Laboratory, St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar (SLROC SLH). The Laboratory with its unique location within the serene and mature grounds of St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar, only a short distance from the city centre, offers a very attractive calm and pleasant work environment. There is ample free parking close to the lab building. The hours of operation of the Lab are 8-6pm Mon-Fri, but working times may be structured to the benefit of staff, once the overall needs of the service are met. The on-call service although 24/7, is an off-site service which is low pressure and therefore quite family-friendly. Senior Social Worker, Children's Disability Network Team
Senior Grade Social Worker CDNT 8, Central Cork 1 Permanent position Horizons is seeking to recruit a Senior Social Worker to work as part of local Children's Disability Network Teams to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centred social work services to children and young people with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework. The role will involve the provision of a range of individual, targeted and universal interventions to children with complex needs and their families. Interventions including Non-violent resistance, Parents Plus Special Needs, Sibshops and autism post-diagnostic interventions are offered by the CDNT. The Senior Social worker will carry a case load of individual cases as well as having allocations to interdisciplinary team interventions with colleagues from other disciplines, including psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. This senior role will involve supporting families with a greater complexity of individual/family need, the supervision of staff grade social workers & students and leading in key areas of service development. The successful candidate will report to the CDNM and be clinically supervised by the Principal Social Worker.
