NIFRS wish to invite applications for the following role: Service Delivery Business Manager Southern Area Command - Job Ref N185/08/2025 As an integral member of the Area Level Service Delivery Team, the Service Delivery Business Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the area business function, including the provision of business planning; performance management; risk management; financial and contract management; business improvement; audit, assurance and governance support; and administration team. They will manage the Administrative Support function within the Area Commands across multi-disciplinary teams in a number of geographical locations within the Area Command, and also fulfil an internal and external business partnering role, providing linkage to HQ Directorates, territorial Area Commands, the Learning Development Centre (LDC) and build and maintain working relationships with external partners at senior level. Hours of work; Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation. In view of the level of this appointment, the post holder will be required to work in such a way as to fulfil the obligations of the post. There is currently one permanent post based at Southern Area Command HQ, Thomas Street, Portadown, BT62 3AH. This recruitment and selection process will also be used to fill future similar vacancies in the same or other Area Commands within Northern Ireland, a reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional permanent or fixed term vacancies arise (offers of posts will be made in merit order). Salary The salary scale is PO4. The salary range is currently £44,711 - £47,754 per annum (Under Review). Role Profile We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Lough Egish, Co. Monaghan on a fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager will be responsible for leading, directing and delivering all activity in relation to Environmental Health & Safety on-site. The successful candidate will ensure the development and promotion of a best-in-class EH&S culture in conjunction with the site management team and employees. This is an on-site role and is part of the site management team. Responsibilities • Develop and implement the site EH&S Management strategy ensuring alignment with the central Tirlán EH&S strategy and Tirlán's continuous improvement agenda.• Develop, manage, and lead a culture of zero harm across the site and ensure a management led approach with a focus on continuous improvement.• Develop and manage the site EH&S risk assessment programme with the site management team to agree and manage prioritised programmes to reduce risks. • Ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to and keep up to date with new legislation and standards. This includes maintenance of the site's Industrial Emissions (IE) licence and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) permit requirements.• Managing the operation and performance of the on-site Wastewater Treatment Plant• Ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to and keep up to date with new legislation and standards.• Develop, deploy, and manage the site EH&S training programme ensuring statutory requirements are adhered to and taking into account best practice and site safety culture development.• Lead on-site Environmental Health & Safety improvement, awareness, and engagement programmmes. Act as role model for the sites values and behaviours• Coordinate the Occupational Health and Sustainability programmes for the site.• Develop and manage site EH&S KPI’s and ensure Tirlán KPI reporting requirements are adhered to.• Provide support to Production Manager to maximise EH&S KPIs in line with overall Production targets• Represent the company in interactions with external agencies/ stakeholders e.g. HSA, Monaghan County Council, Complainants, insurers etc. • Co-ordinate internal and external inspections and audit programmes and Lead & drive adherence to external system accreditation i.e., ISO 14001, Tirlán Risk Management Safety• Lead on site EH&S improvement, awareness, and engagement programmes.• Lead investigations of accidents/incidents on-site. Cyber Security Manager

BAND: 6 JOB PURPOSE: To be involved in all aspects of Cyber Security within the Housing Executive. They will work closely with the IT Operations Manager, the wider IT department and will be instrumental in shaping plans for continuously developing the maturity and effectiveness of operational Cyber Security capabilities and practices. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Clearly demonstrate at least 3 years’ relevant experience within the last 5 years working in a Cyber Security Management role within a large organisation. Or Can demonstrate that you have relevant experience in at least 4 out of the 5 areas listed below - i) Demonstrate how you have played a critical role in shaping and implementing best practices in cyber security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance, while supporting IT teams in embedding security into all aspects of their work. ii) Demonstrate how you have provided strategic security direction and hands-on guidance to ensure robust cyber security management, processes & practices are in place. iii) Demonstrate experience in managing the cybersecurity strategy, risk assessments and security roadmap. iv) Demonstrate how you have contributed to the success of the Cyber division as part of a leadership team v) Demonstrate your experience in: - APPLICATION PROCESS Application should be made using the on-line application form.
