The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Water and Wastewater Operations team is responsible for the regional delivery of water and wastewater operational services through the operation, inspection, maintenance & repair of the treatment and network assets. The Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator will have a remit over a geographical area and is responsible for the operation of treatment processes on the assigned treatment plants and carrying out routine maintenance activities on assets for an area, across a variety of sites as and when requested, in accordance with the task schedule. The Water/Wastewater Network Operator has a remit over a geographical area and is responsible for supporting the operation of the water and wastewater network in order to deliver consistent customer service and carry out routine maintenance activities on the network asset base. The Water/Wastewater Network Operator will be a key interface with the customer and will resolve issues first time where possible. The Water/Wastewater Network Maintenance & Repair Operative has an area remit and is responsible for supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance and repair activities across the water and wastewater network infrastructure in a safe manner. The Role: Customer Operations develop deliver and support excellent customer experience and service to both domestic and non-domestic customers within a regulated industry. Customer Operations responsible for managing the customer relationship with the Customer Contact Centre, ensuring timely and accurate customer billing services, Connection and Developer Services (CDS) and effectively implementing the Uisce Éireann customer strategy. Connections and Developer Services (CDS) are responsible for the customer engagement and stakeholder relationship management of all connections to the Uisce Éireann network. The CDS team manage the customer journey from development concept design, statutory planning process, pre-connection, technical design, site quality assurance, vesting of new asset and final connection and metering, including developing commercial/technical customer agreements, and managing customer funding in adherence to all technical standards, connection charging policy and governance requirements. CDS are responsible for delivering a highly effective customer service, including reviewing, and implementing solutions to meet changing customer needs. Collaboration with several key business partners is essential for the successful delivery of connections on behalf of the customer. Management of Diversions and Build Over processes is critical to ensuring the integrity and future operation and maintenance of Uisce Éireann assets. Reporting to the Diversions Engineer Lead, the Diversions Design Engineer initially focuses on early stage engagement on proposed new developments, will review customer proposals, make critical technical observations, manager interactions with the customer and key internal stakeholders including Asset Management, Asset Operations, Infrastructure Delivery Directorate (IDD) to define solutions, prepare estimates and legal agreements. The scope of the team's responsibility covers 4 main areas: Asset Data Insights and Stakeholder Management, Asset Data Management, Asset Data Governance and Special Projects Reporting to the Asset Intelligence & Projects Senior Manager, the Asset Data Governance Technical Manager is responsible for defining and owning the asset data governance model for all asset information on behalf of Uisce Éireann, including definition and management of the standards, security and governance policies & procedures for asset data capture, asset data change, and asset data provision. As part of the role, the Asset Data Governance Technical Manager will be responsible for identifying the strategic direction and approach towards instilling governance over asset data. In addition, the successful candidate will be tasked with managing a team who are tasked with providing quality assurance on the integrity of asset data and working closely with IT to manage any structural changes to asset data. This role will also be responsible for defining Asset data hierarchies and templates for systems and ensuring governance over critical Uisce Éireann systems, e.g. Maximo and GIS are maintained and ensure that the asset data is fit for purpose for use by the wider Uisce Éireann business.
