Carpentry and Joinery Apprentce
The Trade of Carpentry & Joinery is very wide and varied, it encompasses most of the skills required by the Wood Trades. These skills required of the Carpenter & Joiner are not confined to those required to work in wood but include skills in the use of metals, plastics and fabrics. The Carpenter & Joiner is also required to work in a cross section of domains within the overall trade. The following are some examples: Joinery Shop: This section of the occupation requires the Carpenter & Joiner to engage in setting out, production and assembling items of joinery which include stairs, doors, windows and built-in furniture. Site Work: Site work is the construction of buildings or houses which require 1st fixing, formwork roofs and 2nd fixing. This section is split into two categories, constructing/civil engineering contracts. Maintenance: Maintenance work requires the Carpenter & Joiner to carry out a variety of tasks in general maintenance and upkeep of public and private buildings, e.g. shops and factories. There are other areas associated with the trade which include: renovating buildings, shopfitting, exhibition/display work. Job Summary The Child and Family Agency was established on 1 January 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions including child protection and welfare, alternative care, specified regulatory services, and family support services. Tusla delivers services nationally and continues to develop its practice, culture and structures to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. Tusla has responsibility for services including: Pre-accredited hours must include a minimum of 100 hours of one-to-one counselling/psychotherapy with clients under the supervision of an IACP/ICP accredited supervisor. 2B. Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology Route (2B)(i) Hold a postgraduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. And (2B) (ii) Hold full membership with the clinical or counselling psychology division of the Psychological Society of Ireland. 3. Post-Accreditation Clinical Experience All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ full-time satisfactory, relevant clinical experience post-accreditation as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, providing counselling or psychotherapy in a variety of clinical contexts. 4. Supervision / Case Management Experience All candidates must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience providing supervision and/or case management to Counsellor/Therapists, trainees or other relevant professionals in a variety of settings. 5.
