Area Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking applications from an Area Maintenance Manager to join the expanding Facilities and Maintenance team within Nua Healthcare. The Area Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities across Nua Healthcare services, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to a high standard and in line with health, safety, regulatory and operational requirements. Skills Requirement Candidate Requirements Essential Experience · Minimum 10 years’ experience in facilities, property or maintenance management. · Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and leading maintenance teams. · Demonstrated experience in people management, including performance management, staff development, delegation and providing constructive feedback. · Proven experience managing a multi-site property portfolio. · Proven experience delivering planned preventative maintenance programmes. · Experience managing reactive maintenance operations. · Experience managing contractors and procurement. · Experience managing maintenance budgets. · Experience working collaboratively with Operations and other departments or business functions. · Experience within healthcare, residential, hospitality, education or similar multi-site environments. Qualifications Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in: · Facilities Management. · Building Surveying. · Construction Management. · Building Services Engineering. · Civil Engineering. · Engineering. or Qualified tradesperson with significant maintenance management and people-management experience. The ideal candidate will have/be: 2 years€,, experience in a customer service facing role is desirable Excellent communication skills The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure The ability to organise work, delegate responsibilities and support team members in the store.
