Clinical Nurse Manager, Emergency Department & Acute Floor, University Hospital
University Kerry Hospital is the second largest of the Health Service Executive –South’s seven acute hospitals. The hospital provides acute general hospital services to the population of Co. Kerry (180,554) and additionally to a proportion of the populations of West Limerick and North Cork. The hospital has 275 acute general beds; 50 Acute Psychiatric beds, 46 elderly continuing care beds and a 24/7 Emergency Department which cares for 43,000 emergency presentations a year. The hospital treats over 24,000 inpatients per annum and approximately 54,000 patients attend the Outpatients Department. In addition, the Kerry area has a very large visiting population. It is estimated that there is over 2 million tourists visiting this region annually, principally during the summer months. MRI Clinical Specialist Radiographer
This is a permanent, full-time contract of employment. The successful candidate will have: Applicants must be registered on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the registration board at CORU. Tenure: This is a Full Time permanent contract of employment. Remuneration: Remuneration is in accordance with salary scales approved by the Department of Health / Health Service Executive. The salary scale for this post currently ranges from €66,248 to €78,250 gross per annum (3131). Assimilation onto the scale is based on relevant work experience and in accordance with circular 17/0213 for existing permanent employees. Payment is made on a monthly/fortnightly basis by credit transfer. Hours: 35 hours per week, exclusive of unpaid rest breaks. Annual Leave: 30 working day per annum.
