The Assistant Manager will work with the existing management team to maximise sales of our extensive Food to go Business. The Food to Go business is the heart of the Store and involves the preparation and sale of Hot Food, Soup, Tea/Coffee, and a large selection of sandwiches, wraps, and fresh salads , prepared daily in-store. Of course there will be other duties, including oversight of the Grocery, Dairy, Paper and Magazine, Confectionary, Soft drinks, Gift departments, and a seated Tea Coffee and food area. An in-depth understanding of Hygiene, Food storage and Preparation regulations, and the ability to drive a strong cleanliness ethic ,will be foremost amongst your responsibilities. This role is tailor made for a person with : Several years’ experience in a Supervisory role of a similar Forecourt retail unit, a busy store, or Food Retail outlet.
