Are you working in the hospitality industry in Dublin, living in Kildare, Carlow, West Wicklow or South Dublin. Sick of the N7 and M50. We are located just outside the village of Dunlavin about 10km from Jct 3 on the M9. So if you are tied of the long commute Rathsallagh is an ideal choice. The business here is 90% event driven, it’s a 3 to 4 day week January to May then 4 to 5 May to end of September etc. Working days are predominantly Thursdays to Sundays inclusive. With the team here weekends off are easily arranged. Hours are typically 3pm or 4pm to finish busiest days of the week Thursday Friday and Saturday. We are closed for Christmas 22nd to 27th December inclusive . This position would suite a candidate that wants to work in a stress free environment, with regular hours and a foreknowledge of catering requirements such that rosters can be planned months in advance. The number of working days can be selected by the candidate if required in that we are happy to secure only 2 or 3 days a week from a candidate leaving him or her free to pursue other interests / business opportunities at the same time. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: • Good knowledge of full cycle accounting – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, & Sales Reconciliation; • Play a key role in the monthly preparation of the management accounts; • Work as part of a cohesive team of finance professionals and support the achievement of the team's goals while managing individual responsibilities; • Assist with all year end duties including closing of accounts and preparation of audit with the wider finance teams. • Preparation and submission of journals to accounting system; • Month end close activities, including General Ledger reconciliation • Prepare sales reconciliations for various entities and post relevant journals to accounting system; • Assist with duties in relation to tax compliance & vat returns; • Other office admin duties as required. In addition, they are responsible for supporting best practice care to all the service users in the designated area and supporting a team of front-line Home Support Staff and administration/scheduling staff. ROLE: The Home Support Area Manager is responsible for providing best-practice care to service users in the Home Support Service, within the approved budgetary allocation in the designated area. They are responsible for managing and guiding all staff required to run the service and for the health and safety and administration of the service. They will provide and promote the best available evidence model of care which is person-centred, and community focused and will have an appreciation of the needs of the Home Support service user and Home Support Worker.
