(We do not deal with raw meat) The Days Change Weekly: We operate on a rotating roster for part time positions (2 days one week, 3 days the next). You will not have set days (e.g., "Mondays off"). You need to be available Monday–Friday. Flexibility is Key: Because of the rotating schedule, this role is not suitable for those in part-time education or with fixed commitments on specific weekdays. What You Will Be Doing Cooking from Scratch : preparing fresh, healthy meals daily in our onsite kitchens. Kitchen Management : Assisting with the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Service : Serving students at each break, which also involves cash handling. Safety First: Maintaining high standards of HACCP food safety and hygiene. The Schedule Hours: Approx. 08.00/8:30 am – 2:00pm.Half day every Friday. Roster: Issued one week in advance. Rotation:Part time you will work a 2-day / 3-day weekly rotation. Term time working hoursWhat We Offer Training Provided: We provide full training in HACCP, cooking, and manual handling. A panel may be formed from this recruitment process to fill future Healthcare Assistant vacancies. The Kerry Social Farming Alternative Respite Programme will provide structured day and evening activities for people with disabilities across the county. The programme will focus on social inclusion, community participation and agricultural-based engagement, offering meaningful respite opportunities for participants and their families. Activities will take place in a range of community settings, including farms, local venues and outdoor locations, promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and social connection through engaging, community-based experiences. Healthcare Assistants will play a key role in supporting participants to take part in these activities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and active participation within a person-centred and inclusive environment. Working closely with the Programme Leader, they will help deliver high-quality support that enables participants to engage fully and confidently in all aspects of the programme. REQUIREMENTS: • Experience working with people with disabilities or in a care/support role • A relevant qualification such as Healthcare Support, Social Care or equivalent experience • Understanding of person-centred care and disability support needs • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team • Commitment to inclusion, dignity and participant wellbeing • Basic IT and record-keeping skills • Full clean driving licence with access to own transport DESIRABLE: • Knowledge or interest in agriculture, outdoor activities or community programmes • Familiarity with New Directions or similar policy frameworks The positions are part-time (30 hours per week) and will be based at one of the SKDP Offices in Cahersiveen, Killorglin, Killarney or Kenmare with a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months. Due to the continued growth and success of the group, we are seeking to hire an Accountant on a full time basis. The position will be based at our head office in Killarney, Co. Kerry but will involve travel to company sites. Responsibilities Responsible for month end procedures including revenue calculations, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and KPIs. Responsible for managing accounts of shipping partners. Assist Financial Controller in budgeting and forecasting processes Prepare and submit VAT returns (domestic and foreign) and ensure all tax obligations are met accurately and on time.
